Let’s get ready to rock! Seriously, there are a lot of rocks in this post but not just any rocks. This is one location used for the plains of Rohan. Matt from the Poolburn Adventure Hub took us up to the Poolburn reservoir, overlooking the Ida Valley. There is little imagination needed, since the whole area looks and feels exactly like in the movies.
The region is so spectacular that it is used frequently in film and TV shows. Not only Lord of the Rings and Rings of Power were filmed here but also for example Mulan and the mountain range in the distance even poses as Montana mountains in The Power of the Dog.
