On our last day in Auckland we took the ferry to Rangitoto. This island was created by a volcanic eruption roughly 600 years ago.
In the evening we witnessed the glorious victory of the New Zealand All Blacks against the Australian Wallabies in our first Rugby match.
An unserem letzten Tag in Auckland nahmen wir die Fähre nach Rangitoto. Diese Insel ist vor etwa 600 Jahren durch einen Vulkanausbruch entstanden.
Am Abend sahen wir den glorreichen Sieg der neuseeländischen All Blacks gegen die australischen Wallabies in unserem ersten Rugbyspiel.

By the way, it’s great to see so many posts here! I’m really impressed by your efforts to keep your friends and family up to date, giving us the opportunity to follow you virtually. However, please don’t forget to enjoy your trip! I assume that is your main goal. Don’t get lost in writing posts. Don’t worry too much about us. Keep us posted though, we appreciate every single word and picture on this site! I am aware that I have contradicted myself now. Where I agree with myself (at least for now) is that I continue to wish you a wonderful journey!
